Motor Claims Officer Liability Section

We have an opportunity for a Claims Officer within our Motor Claims Department. Based in the Motor Claims Department at our Head Office you will work closely with the team members to process and settle motor insurance claims within established guidelines, efficiently.

• Registering and investigating motor insurance claims.
• Determining the extent of cover for the incident.
• Liaising with other parties involved in the claim, including insurers to determine fault.
• Authorising payments while ensuring they are within policy limits and legal obligations.
• Handling and resolving queries from customers, providing advice and assistance as necessary.
• Updating customers about the progress and outcome of their claims.
• Dealing with all enquiries in a professional and efficient manner in line with required company service levels and standards.

• A good knowledge of vehicles and familiarity with vehicle repairs.
• Fluency in written and spoken Maltese and English.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Skill in using MS Office Applications.
• Work experience in the insurance setting industry or the vehicle repair sector would be considered an asset.
