The Role: Motor Claims Officer – Cost Control Section

We have an opportunity for a Claims Officer within the Cost Control section of our Motor Claims Department.

The role entails monitoring the repair process of motor vehicles, liaising with customers, intermediaries, repairers, suppliers and motor surveyors in order to ensure that a high-quality service is provided.  Duties also include the processing of survey reports, repair estimates and part supply orders, and the vetting of bills and invoices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A good knowledge of vehicles and familiarity with vehicle repairs.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Maltese and English.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Skill in using MS Office Applications.
  • Work experience in the insurance setting industry or the vehicle repair sector would be considered an asset.
