GasanMamo Insurance Limited has announced its sponsorship of the Mosta Football Club Youth Nursery for the coming four football seasons, making it the main corporate partner for this cornerstone of the nursery.

The sponsorship goes some way in providing financial stability for this Youth Nursery. “At GasanMamo Insurance, we strongly believe in helping youth develop through sports and the beneficial qualities that are derived from discipline and team play. We’ve been committed to youth rugby for years and when we were approached by the Mosta Football Club Youth Nursery, we immediately saw in them an outfit that was professionally run and determined to provide youth with a facility and values that converge with our own.," said Julian Mamo, Director at GasanMamo Insurance.

“The number of boys and girls attending the Mosta Nursery Football Club has risen to nearly three hundred this year. There are a good number of talented youngsters amongst its ranks and the managing committee is striving hard to attract more boys and girls to learn and practise the game. We are equipped with highly competent coaches and assistant coaches for each age group, creating varied and effective training sessions. The nursery this year is also looking forward to enhancing its facilities with the installation of the new synthetic turf which is due to take place in the coming months. We thank GasanMamo for their support which will help to enhance the standard of all its players,” said Mr Anton Vella at the Mosta FC Youth Nursery.

The Mosta FC Youth Nursery was founded in season 1988/89 by Architect Ludovico Micallef (now Vice President of the Malta FA) and Norman Saliba, who at the time was secretary to the Mosta Football Club. Since its inception the Mosta Nursery had an excellent set-up and was always professionally managed. It always fielded strong teams, especially in the under 15 and under 17 years categories.
